Help with my console. !! Fedex damaged my console! so microsoft declined my warranty

Hi! .. i hope some moderator plz can help me ..

just 30days ago.. my box 1 just crashed.. so called at callcenter and i recieved labels.. etc etc..

my console NEVER HAD ANY PHISICAL DAMAGE ,

today i recieved my console.. hitted! crashed and BROKEN IN MANY SIDES. !!!! with a paper that says my warranty was declined bcuz my console was opened, or modified SN ,

FEDEX WAS RESPONSIBLE !!! i didnt sent my console just like that .. i never did something like that

Help !! !!!!

Extended Warranty - really necessary?

No point to be honest.

1. Sign into your Xbox profile on Xbox.com
2. Register your console using the serial number

You will have 15 months warranty provided by Microsoft which is default. My console warranty runs out on February 2015. So to me extended warranty is pointless and by that time if my console is faulty after warranty I don't think it will cost too much for out of warranty repairs unlike Sony (money leeches). By the way you get same warranty on Kinect too

The Microsoft Console Repair Scam - the "Product shipped to customer" status that means nothing!

In my last contact with support the lady told me that the reason that the FedEx site doesn't show the updated tracking info is because it's a reserve tracking number that FedEx gives Microsoft in advance. Microsoft then assigns each repair order a tracking
number before it's entered into FedEx system. Once a number of repairs are deemed completed (a certain quantity) then Microsoft calls FedEx for pickup.Once FedEx receives the consoles they enter them into the system.

If the console was damaged in shipping, you have to make a claim with the shipper.

In the case of FedEx, you would call 1-800-Go-FedEx if you're in the U.S.

I guess that is possible.

I personally think the console was crushed, then at the factory the sticker was folded under either after the tech opened the console or snapped it back together after the damage had occurred.

Either way, Microsoft isn't honoring the warranty, and even Global Escalations is not handling the issue properly. In addition, FedEx will not accept claims from anyone but Microsoft, per the shipping contract between the two companies.

No. Unfortunately physical/accidental damage would not be covered by the normal limited warranty that comes with the console.

If you had purchased the Microsoft complete warranty (which does cover physical/accidental damage) then the repair would be free but otherwise something like that would be a paid repair.

Sudden falls can cause internal damages to the console so try to avoid them.

If the console is damaged you will understand it when you operate it.
