Help with Minecraft for Windows 10 Disappearance

Hi, I apparently have used my code for my free Minecraft Windows 10 version after downloading the Java version. Because of this, I have checked my account to re-download this app, as I cannot find it when looking through my laptop. I even reset my laptop
last year, and I have looked through the deleted files and cannot find a trace of Minecraft for Windows 10, despite seeing the Java version. I have seen it in my Windows tab in the "M" section, and in my pinned section, but when I press it, it says "pending",
and then redirects me to the app in the Microsoft Store, not for free but for the fully-fledged price. I also have searched about the same issue and tried all of the resolutions, but they have not worked (looking at My Library, checking my billing and payment
history, etc.). Please help me with this problem, as I do not know what is going on, and I hope that I can trust Microsoft as a company to resolve this issue. Thank you.

Sadly, I am positive it was on either of those accounts.

Hi Joshua,

Thanks for coming to the forums with your issue. You will need to find the account the code was originally redeemed on. This would be the only way to recover the game.

Thank you for responding quickly Brad. I have checked the accounts that I possibly may have downloaded it on with no luck, specifically I looked at My Library on both accounts with no purchases relating at all to Minecraft for Windows 10.

Thanks for the reply. You stated you reset the laptop, is it possible you had a totally different profile than the 2 you currently use? This would explain why you are unable to find it. The code would show in your order history if it was redeemed on an account.

If it's a code for Minecraft for Windows 10 we can only redeem it through redeem.microsoft.com which will immediately be added to our order history in real-time.

We really need to locate the redemption transaction. Kindly ask if you may have redeemed it on your family member's Microsoft account.
