    help with media centre


    I am trying to connect my laptop to my 360 via media centre, every time I get a configuration error when I try to setup the extender I have followed the troubleshooter to no avail, I have my laptop setup to my home network wirelessly and my 360 is connected
    via Ethernet cable to my router any ideas would be appreciated

    connecting 2 windows media

    what have you tried it should be simple enough to just open media centre on your pc/laptop then clicking add media extender, open media centre on console then enter the 8 digit number on media centre.

    Media Centre vs Media Player

    If you are using Windows XP Media Centre Edition you will gain nothing by using Media Centre to stream over Media Player.

    I've always found it easier to use the System Media Player than Media Centre. I find Media Centre to be more trouble than its worth.
