Help with Kinect placement/ XB Fitness

Hey guys, I could use some help. I've had the XB1 for a few weeks, and had the Kinect mounted above my 50" perfect, no issues. I have my TV directly in front of my bed, with a few feet to spare between them. I recently started trying to use XB Fitness. But
where my kinect is now, I need to stand next to my bed to barely squeeze into the picture, and my legs get cut off from the bed. Any suggestions on new mounting locations? Right next to my tv on the floor is the tower sub for my surround sound. Can I put the
kinect on this? will it matter if it is next to my tv, and not on or under it? Thanks--

Kinect fitness game advice needed

Kinect Fitness is a Training Aid.... Not something to lose belly fat in any fast manner.. You just use Kinect Fitness, to help you with ideas, when you go to an actual Gym... Sometimes, it can be confronting, when you go to a Gym & you are training yourself...
You go there with a Fitness Plan & Kinect Fitness helps... Everybody knows you are in a Gym to get fit or lose weight, so don't be ashamed in trying a real workout...

what is the fitness game on kinect to help lose weight?

 

short version: can i put the kinect next to the tv, on a speaker

 

put it where you want, when you change the location go through the kinect setup to make sure its picking you up

 

trust me, im a pro in re configuring the kinect by now, must have done it ten times trying to get it to see me next to my bed. I'm just worried about it sitting away from the tv....do you think it could screw up gestures? or will voice get messed up from
it being on a speaker? I was hoping someone did something similar.

 

the voice commands won't matter as long as the the mic picks you up.

the gestures will work but they are relavent to to the camera, so I think you have to be looking t the kinect, but I would move it for the fitness and move it inlint with the TV after.
