help with hotel set up

I am working out of a hotel for the week and was wondering if anyone knows a way to set up the xbox one with the wifi. To get onto the internet like using my phone or lap top I have to open up internet explorer to sign into the hotels wifi server but it
takes a code and a password to get internet here. unlike when I set it up at home and xbox only needs the one pass work for my wifi there. Any suggestions. its run through a system called Nomadix.

I just bought my son a xbox one s 500gb for Christmas and we are trying to set it up to play, but whenever we put a game in it asks if we own the game. It does not give us a option to play it at all. (I bought all the actual discs to go with his xbox, not
any from an online store)

I'm familiar with Nomadix, it uses MAC address authentication, so if you connect with your laptop, you need the MAC address of your wireless adapter on your laptop and put it in the X1, on your laptop it is listed as the physical address that can be found
under the details of your wireless connection, you will want to Google it for step by step instructions, and the X1 will allow you to change the MAC address under its network settings, but you have to have your laptop connected, and then take it offline and
change the MAC of the X1 within about 5 minutes. Good luck.

It's doubtful that it would work like that, but I have a solution for your xbox at a hotel's network. You need to take a mac address off another device that has already connected to the hotel and accepted their terms, then set it as the alt mac address on
the xbox. Hope that helps. =)

Hi Blaster,

Unfortunately you will need to get with the hotel manager or IT administrator of the hotel to let your Xbox access the private secure network of the hotel. You may need to give them your Xbox 360's MAC address found under your Advanced Network Settings.
Go to Settings>Network Settings>Choose the Network>Configure Network>Additional Settings and you will see the console's MAC Address.

I'm afraid networks that use a username/password as a login in a browser like your set-up cannot be access direct from the Xbox, PPPoE settings are used for something different

The only real way to connect is to share a connection like this

Are you in a Hotel by chance? If you have access to the router you may want to factory reset it and set it up again with lower security settings, Or contact your provider for solutions since its the internet that's the issue
