    Help with games crashing?!


    So here's the full story.

    On Friday I bought, and downloaded Skyrim from the Xbox one store. Since then I have been experiencing frequent game crashes on overwatch and rainbow six seige. Skyrim also crashes very frequently and my Xbox will turn off after as well. I've tried everything
    Microsoft support staff have said, restarting my Xbox, restarting the router, redownloading games, doing a factory reset twice, and more.

    one support guy told me to look at my network details, everything is fine except I am getting a 2-4 percent packet loss on a wired connection. I've never recieved any issues with my router, other than the occasional bad connection that's fixed with a reset.

    So, is it a console or internet issue? Only a few games crash and skyrim causes the console to crash as well, so I think it's related to that. NHL 17 and other games seem to work fine though. I don't lag while playing online either.

    I'm sure I'm forgetting something but please message me, my gt is , or reply to this.

    You are likely on the Preview Program, which is essentially a beta-testing platform for future firmware updates. Bugs and weird system behavior are to be expected.

    You should have access to a private subforum for Preview Program members only. They can offer you more specialized help.

    If you want to remove yourself from the program, see this link:

    Removing yourself from the Preview Program will bring you back to the more stable, current, public firmware version. Please note that any digital purchases made while you were still enrolled in the Preview Program may not work once you are back on the current
    firmware, and will stay that way likely until the next firmware update.

    Help with a game that crashes

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    It may be that the local save for your game has become corrupted. If so, deleting the local save and re-syncing with the cloud might correct the problem.

    First, delete the local save:

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide and then select My games & apps > See all > Games.

    2. Highlight the game title, and then press the Menu button on your controller.

    3. Select Manage game & add-ons > Saved data.

    4. Select Delete all to remove the local save of this game.

    5. Select Delete all again to confirm.

    After you delete the local save, restart your Xbox console:

    1. Press and hold the Xbox button in the center of your Xbox controller to open the Power Center.

    2. Select Restart console.

    3. Select Restart.

    After you restart your Xbox console, re-sync your saved games to the cloud. Your saved games are automatically stored in the cloud while you’re connected to Xbox Live.
