Thank you for letting me know about the game. There aren't universal codes for games. I am going to private message you, and then if you could please provide me the code and I can check the region on my end. You may have to contact the person who gave you this code and give you a specific code for your region.

I just received notification from the person helping me, and this code is not supported in your region. I would reach out to the person who either gifted you or sold you the code. Because the error message you received is because of two things

1) The code only works in a specific region that you are not in

2)You are in a region not supported by Xbox

Code is for skate 2 and guy who gave me the code said its a worldwide code

Here’s what the Xbox support website-
https://support.xbox.com/en-SG/billing/prepaid-codes/prepaid-code-errors states for the following error message:

This code wasn't activated by the retailer. Contact the store and have them activate the card

All codes must be activated at the point of sale in order to be used on Xbox Live. Sometimes there can be a delay at the retailer when activating. If you receive this error message, wait 24 hours and try again. If the card does not work 24 hours after purchase,
take the card back to the retailer along with your proof of purchase and ask them to activate it.
