Log on to your account @
account.microsoft.com and make sure to add your device with the serial number. Then you are able to request service. (Be aware that if the item is no longer covered by warranty, you will be charged for the repairs)

Although it would be nice to try and re-coup some of the lost funds from Microsoft.

If you cannot locate or access the account that has the subscription, then you need to speak with your financial institution and have them cancel the card and block further Microsoft purchases.
