    Help with connection


    Hello everyone I need help.... I am not able to connect to Xbox live/ the Internet and if I do connect it disconnects me after a little while. I am not sure what to do. I will run the connection test and it will either say can not connect or connect but
    when I go to the main screen I am not connected.. I have factory reset my Xbox three times already and it has connected me to it all and my games start to redownload and then after a bit it disconnects and it all happens all over again .. I called my internet
    provider and they checked everything on there side and said it was fine and I called xbox support and they did there stuff and either it didn't work or it worked for a little bit then disconnected and I am not able to get online again even though in the network
    status it says I am connected to my internet .. Please help I am not sure what to do and I don't want to have to by a new Xbox one

    hey guys I need help!!! My 360 won't connect to my or my girlfriends hotspot. I've tried making a static up and I've tried setting to factory default but neither have worked. Anybody have any ideas Please!!!

    Hey..Have you dbl checked the Network settings on your xbox 360? Be sure cause u said you replaced and upgrated etc..U never know? Also i used to have DSL and i used to get lag alot.So i ways always sure i had my PCs off and nothing else running on the network
    that would give me a slow speed...

    Also when you search for a game do u use Local Only? While waiting for a game press select i think thats the button.And choose Best Connection..Also check in Options on Blops2 for something like this> A.B.C.D....etc...Sometimes you can get info for errors
    on there..

    Go onto your IP providers support site and read and look around for people having the same issue in Xbox360 networking problems etc...

    Good luck hope you get it fixed up and running smooth.I know the feeling of Lag.Thats why i switched to Cbl...But that my opion and option.Just sharing...Well good luck..Come back let us know how your making out..

    More info....what kind of modem ? What kind of router? Wireless or hardwired ? Who's your isp ?

    Is it comcasts ? is it a modem and router in one (a gateway) ?....1st thing I would try would be to try it hardwired and eliminate if its a wireless problem or not..

    get some model numbers and a brand from the router and we'll find out what it is....

    Connection help

    Since you've got Halo 4, chuck it in and let it tell you what your NAT type is. If it's Open, you shouldn't have any problems (though you can actually have a few problems). If it's Moderate you can only connect to other Moderate or Open players and Strict
    NAT players can only connect to Open NAT players.

    .

    If your NAT type is Open, tell them to check theirs. If it isn't, look into opening yours, it really does help.

    Have you checked your NAT types? If it is closed that means you won't be able to connect to them.
