    Hi so I have a E17T6W TFT lcd flat panel monitor Emachines which has a vga slot but no hdmi slots So I bought a

    Xbox 360 HD VGA Audio/Video Cable 6ft from amazon to hook it up I have hooked it up but when I turn on my monitor it says no signal and then goes into sleep mode. If anyone knows how to fix this it would help alot. Yes the monitor works I use it for
    my computer all the time.

    HDMI to DVI cable

    Attempt at connection:

    Basically, my monitor keeps saying "No signal, check connection" and it doesn't ever do anything else when I connect my 360. I checked my cable to see if it was functioning properly by connecting it to my HDMI port on my graphics card, and the DVI to my
    monitor, and it worked perfectly. For some reason, it just doesn't seem to to want to connect to my Xbox. My monitor allows HDCP, so that's not an issue. I was just curious if anyone else had any like with this monitor/had any other advice for me to try.
    Any and all help is appreciated!

    The only other issue that I read about was not connecting the AV cable into my Xbox? But I didn't know how that would affect/help my situation since it connects fine to the TV with only an HDMI cable.

    GTA V: Fix for jagged edges?

    I've noticed that GTA V has a lot of "jaggies" on my monitor. It's a BenQ G2450hm and I'm connected via HDMI. I've tried several HDMI cables and that hasn't made a difference. I'm wondering if there is something i can do to the settings of either my xbox or my monitor that might help. Also, would there be any benefit to hooking the monitor up to a pc for calibration and then going back to the 360?

    There are HDMI to DVI cables. There are digital audio to analog audio adapters. There are also VGA cables for 360s that have an AV port (the 360 E does
    not).

    Hi, you cannot connect your xbox to your Computer, but you can connect it to your monitor. Check the back of your monitor to see if it has an HDMI port and or VGA(Blue) or DVI(White). Most newer monitors have built in HDMI. If you don't you'll need to find
    an HDMI to VGA or DVI. Hope this helps and good luck.

    Thanks, that helps. I don't have an independent computer monitor. Had to leave my HDTV behind when I moved, and I can't really afford to buy anything new which I will probably have to leave behind soon, anyway. Seems like this might be a decent solution,
    at least temporarily.

    I would suggest using a monitor though as it is much easier, but that's up to you. :)
