Help with Cisco 9865HDC cable box!!

My Xbox one will not control the Cisco 9865HDC cable box. I even bought IR blaster to set in front of cable box and it still will not control it. The xbox will control my tv and surround sound though.

Need code for two things

I Have an xbox one and need a code for my RCA flat screen tv model number LED 50B45RQ and also my tv box which it though Time Warner cable its a DVR brand is Cisco and i believe the model number is 9865Hdc

 

Cox 6 tuner

Cox just released an update to their 6 tuner cable box. Since then I'm unable to use the TV app. Any time I try to watch TV my Xbox One reboots. All components work on their own, but together there seems to be an issue. Box model is Cisco 9865HDC.

I am assuming the Live TV functionality is still working, just not the voice commands? If that's the case, I recommend checking our

OneGuide Troubleshooting page for steps to start out with. In addition to that page, give these steps a shot as well to make sure the proper remote codes are entered:

• From the Xbox One Dashboard, scroll to the left to open up the Xbox One Guide.
  
• Within the Guide, scroll down and select 'All settings'.
• Within the settings screen, scroll down to 'TV & OneGuide' and select 'Device control'.
  
• Select 'Cable or satellite box'.
• Select 'Cable or satellite box setup' and run through those steps.

You may need to manually enter the remote codes. For the device you provided, try the remote code '1877'.

I tried to do this and it says it reads cable box but none of the next steps work I just keep hitting no and it try's different codes but nothing works. The xbox doesn't turn the box of or on or change channels

 

I'm having the same Issue. It's been a month that I've been trying to figure this out and no luck! Cox cable can't help me and neither can Microsoft. Tried explaining it to them both on live chat and they don't get it. I have the Contour 9865HDC cable box
that my Xbox one S says it does not recognized. If you have discovered anything new please let me know. Thanks!

 

I have figured it out! You just have to use code C1982 and it works!
