    Help with ban


    My brother did some stupid stuff using my account without my knowledge since I haven’t been gaming at all lately, too busy with work. I get an email that my account has been perma banned. Enforcement is no help, customer support is no help. Being punished for something I didn’t even do. He no longer lives with me, just stayed while he was out of work. How the heck do I get reinstated? Or am I just screwed?

    The enforcement team do not use the forums.

    Any report filed has to be investigated which takes time.Your 2nd suspension would be for something you did weeks ago or even longer,not while you were serving your first suspension.

    You need to go to the enforcement site
    https://enforcement.xbox.com/home     to see any enforcement action on your account & file for a case review if eligible.

    Microsoft do not un-ban previously banned consoles as they are permanent. They do not ban people's consoles/accounts lightly, they do so after several investigations.

    The most common reason for a banned console is modifying it, but there are other reasons such as marketplace theft.

    You might want to post in section 14 in order to get an official answer.

    they unban an account at the same time of day as they banned it,so if it was 10p.m when they banned you they will not unban you till 10p.m

    You may file an appeal on enforcement.Xbox.com

    I suggest adding at least a PIN, and/or disabling auto login in the future.
