Help with a family member situation please!!!

I have a child on my account under family and they have their own xbox but are now ready to be on there own. i know i can go to settings and remove the family member but, in doing so will they lose anything they have purchased or will it simply just lose
all ties to my account and let them continue on as normal? thanks

Xbox Live Family Pack Issue

Hello,

I recently bought an xbox live family and was working on adding a family member. I successfully added the first family member but it said that there was a problem adding them to my Gold Family Pack and to try adding them later. I have tried multiple times
and nothing has worked. I have also tried adding another family member but it wouldnt even let me add another member so far. Please help me figure this out.

Family pack: transition to individual accounts has not happened.

Hi, according to the family pack faq there are situations where the transition may not take place as planned, check out this link for more info please to see if these apply to you.

Hi there,

When an account is removed from a family, it will retain all it's purchases. Before removing an account, make sure it has reached the age of majority for your country (for example 18 in the US) otherwise the account will need to be added to another family
to continue to use Live services.

Please log in here with your account and check if other family members appear on your family

If you don't see family members as in the picture, tht means this account is not on a Microsoft family

If you do see the members you the family organizer of that family should be able to see your account here

If the problem is that they can't see you in the privacy settings section, that's because you are added as an organizer and not as a family member

Well, there is a very simple method of solving this.

Press the guide button on Xbox

Scroll right until you see "Family settings",

Turn family settings on, then simply confirm which restrictions you want on the account

Then save and exit.

I understand your situation but this will help you.
