    Help using my PC through X1 HDMI-in!


    Seems simple right? I can't figure it out.

    I have had my cable box plugged into my X1 since launch and used live TV. Now i want to try to use my PC by plugging it in with the HDMI-In outlet on Xbox one. I plugged in the cord to my Computer monitor and the X1 and nothing comes through. It says "We've
    lost your TV signal". Any comments?

    Help!

    I have 19" PC monitor and I want to play x1 through it but it only has a VGA port no hdmi, so I have purchased a hdmi to VGA with audio off ebay for £8. Is that the right thing to do? For my audio I was going to just plug my gaming headset straight into
    the cable. Help?

    Problems watching television when xbox one is off.

    Are you using the HDMI pass through from the cable box through the X1 to your TV. If so you will need the X1 turned on or no signal will reach your TV

    Hi Karma, make sure the hdmi port on the monitor is hdmi out. It has to be hdmi out in order to work.
