Help. Unable to get the Java & Bedrock edition despite owning bedrock

Went through the instructions. All it is offering is a demo or trial. Don't know what I am doing wrong.

you don't need to do anything, there is a new version that includes both, if you have one of them in your library it will be added to your library, you must have one of the versions on your windows.

Same issue here, I own Minecraft Java Edition but I am unable to even access the page on the Microsoft Store to get the bedrock edition and the launcher just tells me incompatible with launcher

if you own the java edition then you would need to but the bedrock edition on console, java edition id pc only, but you would need to buy the bedrock edition for each platform you want it on.

No, you needed to have owned bedrock edition or java edition on PC to get one either. Java edition is only available on PC too.
