    HELP: TV signal drops every time


    Every time I turn my Xbox One on it shows the cable working and then within 3 seconds it goes black screen. Sometimes I get the "Weve lost your TV signal" message and most of the times it's just a plain black screen. It never comes back on by itself. I either
    have to reset all the tv set up options in settings or manually turn off and on my cable box multiple times. Anyone else having this problem and know a fix? It's very annoying.

    Hi

    I've recently been given an xbox 360 - plugged it in and the green light is on but TV says no signal. I've tried it with both the HDMI cable and the other cables but every time it says no signal on the TV. Help!!!

    Xbox keeps looking for TV signal

    I originally set up the xbox to use live tv but didn't like it, so I removed the tv equipment from the xbox settings to stop using the xbox tv service, but every ttime I startup the xbox, it looks for the tv signal and gives me a screen saying that
    the tv signal was lost, and I must hit the home button to get past it.

    How can I completely disable live tv so the system doesn't look for the tv signal every time I boot it up? Thanks!

    With WiFi, you can get drops caused by passive interference. This is things like walls, cables, radiators, TVs and other electronic equipment within the household.

    The recommended connection is a wired one. You can also try a signal booster.

    Yes, it's Prism TV. The TV worked when the modem was bridged, but would "lose signal" every 2 minutes, which was 'fixed' by changing the channel.

    I am having this same issue since a recent xbox one update. Tv signal just freezes every so often and occasionally I see a message about my tv not being able to play DHCP content. but if i don't route my tv signal through my xbox then it works fine. hopper

    Hi Aeryn! It could be that your Xbox is sending the signal for the correct brand of TV, but not exactly the right model. Some models require a "longer" button press for the power off signal, while others require the same quick press as a power-on. If your
    Kinect is sending the "long" power off signal, but your TV only requires a short flash, the TV could be seeing the signal twice, resulting in the extra power on cycle.

    I would recommend trying to re-setup your Kinect TV controls, automatically first, and manually if that doesn't help. To get there, from the main dashboard, press Menu and go to Settings -> TV & OneGuide, then choose "Devices." From here, you should be able
    to run the automatic setup by choosing your TV brand and answering the onscreen prompts. If that doesn't help, there should be the option to set up manually instead.

    Also, if you don't mind the extra button press, you could set it up like I have - I have to set mine to turn everything on, but NOT turn off the TV, because my monitor and TV are the same brand, so every time I would power down the system, my pc monitor
    shut down too!
