Help troubleshooting constant game crashes

Hi all. I have been having a lot of crashes playing Destiny 2 on my series X. I am running in 4k60 HDR10 and have run this way since getting the series X and Beyond Light DLC dropping so this has been a recent event where I have lost stability. The game is installed on the internal storage, and I have both the external SSD installed and a 5TB WD Black hard drive connected via USB ( via a USB HUb..also have external TV receiver, controller USB cable and MixAmp to the same hub). The hub and all things were the way I had it with my Xbox One X and had been stable for years that way. Likewise the Series X has been a drop-in replacement until just recently.

I am very unsure at the moment as to what might be going on and just looking for hints. I was initially suspicious of internet bandwidth, and while the connection isn't perfect ( I have been seeing slowdowns), the connection has been up the entire time. The Xbox itself doesn't freeze. I can hit home and quit the game, start it back up, the game crashes again, restart again and I can get back in until it goes through another crash cycle.

Some questions I have: 1. Could internet bandwidth be a cause here? 2. Could instant-on be a contibutor? 3. Could this be simply a game issue? 4. Could there be something going on with the console hardware itself? 5. I'm in the alpha ring. Could the alpha release have introduced something that is causing issues?

I'm somewhat at a loss on how to try and narrow down what the problem might be. Do game developers get feedback when games crash? Should I report the crash through the reporting mechanism?

Any suggestions ideas are very much appreciated.
