Help to fix a friends bricked xbox

    Help to fix a friends bricked xbox


    So i have been handed and xbox one and asked if i can fix it.
    Apparently 1/2 way through an update there was a power cut and the system just came up with the there is something wrong screen.
    I downloaded OSU1 update to a USB Stick and booted from the stick and tried to run the update.
    It gets 2/3 way through, reboots and comes up with the error e100 again

    The xbox os version is 19041.1642.amd64fre.vb_release_xbox_dev_2004.200414-0000
    Now as i understand it this is a beta release version so i am unsure how to proceed

    Xbox one wont turn on.

    Yeah that was one of the first things I tried , tried to get all the easy fix solutions tried first. I always use the wall outlet and I tried my friends power brick and my power brick on his console and it 100% isn't that unfortunately.

    FIFA 14 and BF4 keep on crashing

    Try to disconnect the brick from your xbox.

    While the brick is out restart your router.

    This is a simple fix and it might help you out. Maybe it's RAM problem but I am not an expert...

    Xbox 360 Slim won't turn on at all. Broken already?

    I already tried this my friend. Didn't help me. Only thing I still have to do is swap my power brick with a friend's power brick. If that doesn't work, then I'm stuck

    My Xbox won’t turn on

    Im going to get a new power brick and hopefully that will fix it but if it doesnt ill try to get a new xbox or try to fix this one. Thanks for the help

    Xbox 360 S shorted?

    Are you sure that it's your Xbox and not a broken power brick? If you have a friend with the same power brick, try his!

    If your xbox works, you'll know that it's the power brick.
