    I recently purchased a Samsung MU7000 TV which I triple checked with Samsung has HDR 10 support and is a 2017 model, and should have no problems displaying any HDR content from games or movies. there were no settings to change. I
    hooked up my XBOX one S to the HDMI 2 port as suggested by Samsung, via a Monster 4K certified HDMI cable. upon going into the 4k Tv info menu on the XBOX, it comes up telling me the TV does not support HDR for games, movie or TV.

    Solutions I have tried as suggested by XBOX live support agent and Samsung live support agent:

    1. tried all HDMI ports, with different HDMI cables

    2. tried updating and doing a hard power cycle to the XBOX

    3. tried unplugging both the cable box and AV receiver from the TV, even though Samsung said this shouldn't matter

    4.tried playing with picture modes of the TV

    5. ensure all xbox settings are correct such as auto detect source, resolution settings etc.

    I have been triple ensured by Samsung this TV has HDR10 support, and the XBOX agent also said if it has HDR10 support there should not be any issues displaying HDR content of any kind. So why does my XBOX not seem to want to recognize the compatibility?
    anyone have any suggested fixes?

    Xbox one S does NOT work for UHD

    My friends UHD 4K works fine.

    Like above, have you gone into the console settings and checked 4K/HDR is enabled?

    Also check your TV settings. When I recently got my new Samsung I had to go into settings and enable HDR etc

    Xbox One S not support 4k UHD?

    I have a Samsung JS9500 TV hooked up to my Xbox One S. All 4k settings are checked off.

    Does Amazon Instant Video do not support 4k UHD HDR? While browsing the movie list none shows UHD. No where on the screen it says 4k and my TV would usually tell me if the content is in HDR.

    I remember seeing the Xbox One S ad showing support for 4k on Amazon Instant video.

    I have a similar Samsung TV (UN65KU6290F) and I was facing the same issue when trying to set up HDR on my Xbox One S.

    All I had to do was go to the TV settings and turn on "HDMI UHD Color", and then all of the items in the 4K/HDR list got a green checkmark. On your TV, go to
    Home > Settings > General > External Device Manager > HDMI UHD Color. You may also want to check for firmware updates on your TV.

    4k xbox one x stutter

    Try not using game mode or any motion smoothing on your TV. I made the mistake of setting my Samsung up wrongly. Also check that the HDMI port is set up for 4k HDR, doesn't tend to be on as standard.

    xbox one x can't do 4k but xbox one s can

    Have you checked that the HDMI port (in your TV settings) is capable of and set to 4k. I had to activate the 4k within my Samsung TV and not all of the ports are 4k compatible.

    Unless you've 100% researched the TV you want double check that the Samsung you are getting.

    My mate last week got a Samsung 4K HDR 55 from Currys. Sales guy assured him that it supported HDR10. Got it home, set up his Xbox Slim, picked up 4K but no HDR10. He phoned Samsung directly and was told the that model didn't support HDR10 even after updates.

    Luckily Currys replaced it with a TV that supported HDR10 but was a lot of hassle packing the old TV up, waiting for the new one etc

    I'd probably do it myself but I bet there's people looking to invest in a 4K after buying a Slim, rush out, see "4K & HDR on the sticker" and think all will be ok.
