    Help! Seagate HD disconnects me from XboxLive


    I just bought a 1TB Backup Plus Slim external hard drive for my Xbox One S. I plugged it in and formatted it for games and apps. But I wasn't connecting to my internet. I tried power cycling my modem and turning my Xbox off and back on. Then I thought maybe
    it was the hard drive interfering with it. Sure enough when I unplug my hard drive my Xbox immediately connects. And when I plug it back in it disconnects. ****? It's obviously the hard drive. Has anyone ever experienced this? How can I fix it? Any help would
    be appreciated.

    Boot up time with external HDD takes about double the time than without. Is that normal?

    Same boot up speed for me with my Seagate 4TB External HD.

    At least it disconnects after 30 min or 1 h but always happens!

    i am having the same issue on a 1 TB Seagate external HD.

    At least it disconnects after 30 min or 1 h but always happens!

    At least I know that it is not a problem with my device :)

    GAME NOT UPDATING

    I am having the same issue i believe and need help badly, every time i turn on my console and sign in to xboxlive i go to any game or app in the guide get a update and the update fails or it completely disconnects me from xboxlive preventing

    me from interacting with anything in the console when i troubleshoot connection its says everythings fine and im fully connected to live and i reset my content cache to no avail please help.

    Xbox 360 keeps disconnecting from my WiFi, which results in lost Xbox Live.

    i am sorry to hear that your having problems with you wifi connection

    if your disconnecting from xboxlive using wifi

    then it maybe not be secured which means hat other people may use your conection

    if your using the wireless apdapter

    they is problems with that many of my friends had problems with the apdater because it disconnects you because of the coverage to xboxlive between your router to apdater which is connected to the xbox.

    the best thing to do is using wired to connect to xboxlive which decreases the chance of disconnecting from xboxlive compared to the wireless
