Help regarding my Xbox companion connection error

Hey , I bought forza horizon 4 few days ago and I am unable to play it with my friends as it always showed an error but then I did some digging and found out my connection is blocked I tried ever possible way available on the internet yet the problem remains , is there anyone who knows how to fix this I have did everything that's been told to do through cmd or firewall.

Thank you for your help , I did download the new app but the problem remains any extra step to change the path or something?

The console companion is a legacy Windows 8 app that has been discontinued with thst operating system

You have been intended to use the Xbox app built into windows since Windows 10 launched in 2015.

Reset your xbox and sign into another accoout too see if the problem is still there

The xbox console companion is a PC app. I'm having issues connecting from my PC to my friends' Xbox party chat. I don't have an xbox.

Thank you for such a quick reply! My OS is up to date so i have the console companion, however I do not actually own an Xbox, just the laptop. I’m fully logged in on the app, my Network page says the Xbox Live services are up and running, my NAT type is
Open and my Server connectivity is Connected. No errors are showing. I have also tried opening the game from inside the Console Companion, but to no avail.

Which Phone are you using ? There is an issue with HTC Phones that you cant have a Data-Connection and a Wireless-Connection at the same time ....
