Help redeeming code

The code i won off of xboxs instragram starts off with a question mark. It dosent allow me to insert that charcter in the code box.

Borderlands 2: Halloween Shift Codes

These codes do not get entered under " redeem code" on the Xbox dashboard. They get put in while you are playing the game. You go to the main menu -> extras -> shift codes. And enter them there. Hope this helps.

Need help redeeming my xbox live code

I tried redeeming the code in my browser on my computer using these instructions, big mistake. It said "thank you, you redeemed your code" and then exited me out. No gamertag registration whatsoever. I thought the whole point of redeeming my code was to create a gamer tag, but no just exits me out. I then tried redeeming my code on my xbox (so that I could create the gamer tag) and it said "sorry, code already redeemed."

so what the... what do I do now?

The codes that are redeemable for Xbox / Microsoft are 25 characters (letters and numbers) long.

Did the code that you won come with any other instructions on how and where to redeem?
