Help please

Never posted here before, long time xbox supporter. Certainly at my wits end, last resort time two days ago I lost all saves for all games. FIFA cannot find profile settings 1, everything else has vanished as if it never existed. Have tried most solutions
excluding factory restore. Countless hours gone and I'm not the slightest bit interested in starting any games again from scratch really. Have suffered through a lot with this new system since day one. Though this could be the straw breaking the camels back,
I loved my 360 but even the most loyal fans have limits.

I have just set up my xbox one and the sound doesn't sound right. I have it on a 5.1 dolby system it's really odd on call of duty advanced warfare the centre speaker works during cinematic scenes but has no volume during game play it sounds ok and the gun and voice effects come mainly from the front two speakers but that can't be right????

Has anyone else got call of duty set up on 5.1 dolby system?

i dont have cod..

first i would go into settings and controller and update it.. (idk why) but somewhere along the line an update for headsets had something with dolby 5.1 in it.

i dont have cod so i cant say how my 5.1 sound bar works but the way i recall it is.. the developer sets the standard or output channels.. this is why forza worked next to polk audio to "dial in sound" its not really a microsoft thing as much as cod development.

i would check settings on xb1 to see if it is in dolby 5.1 or stereo
i would also check the settings in game to seewhat they are.

depending on your sound bar check and see i fit has a setting for analog or coax it may also have different modes.. game,movie,stereo,cinamatic each one does alter how sound is projected

I'm sincerely sorry to hear about the issue. Just so I don't recommend something you have already done, could you post with each of the troubleshooting steps you have tried? That would help us a lot!

unplugged the power cord for 1 minute

 

Thanks for the response too dude. Looking like factory reset is the final option if there is nothing here. Not sure i will reinstall 15-20 games. Also if this is sorted somehow and i dont have to jump the fence :0 Is it possible to merge two accounts? I
own Cunningmist aswell, want that extra 30000 gamerscore added hehe.

Why don't we try removing and re-adding your profile to the Xbox One console to see if that triggers the saves to come back down if they were backed up. Follow these steps below:

• Press the Menu button on your Xbox One controller and select 'Settings'.
  
• In the Settings menu, scroll all of the way to the right part of the screen and select, 'Remove accounts'.
  
• Remove your account.
• Hold the power button on the Xbox One console for 10 seconds until it powers off.
  
• Power back on and add your profile back to the Xbox One.

As for your second question, there isn't a way to merge two Xbox Live profiles. That would be a nice bump in the achievement score though!

Try each of those steps above to remove and re-add your profile and let us know if you're able to load saves!

 

No change, followed all instructions. I still can see all my achievements

 

Wow. Cant save either. Just bought Sleeping Dogs too. It really is one of the few games i haven't purchased. Just perfect

• Press the Menu button on your Xbox One controller and select 'Settings'.
  
• In the Settings menu, select 'System'.
• Under 'Storage', and then select 'Restore factory defaults'.
