HELP PLEASE!!!! Xbox controller and smart meter problems.?!!!!

Hi all i need a little help,

My neighbor had an electricity and gas smart meter installed yesterday afternoon and since then both mine and his Xbox will not connect online or the controllers will not connect to the Xbox itself even after trying to re sync them, my neighbor had thought
that his Xbox was faulty and had bought a new one and that still had the same problem, he took it back to the shop and they had tested it and it worked fine.

My neighbor had called up the suppliers of the meter and had asked them to come back and they had profoundly refused and said that it was not there problem and that the meter would not do such a thing.

I am a qualified electrician and had tested both mine and his electricity circuits and they were fine, i tested voltages going in and out of the power pack they were fine.

I had spoken to the electricity suppliers as-well on his behalf and was told that i need to send a detailed description of what my findings where as i had said to them about the frequency that both the Xbox's and the smart meter transmit on may interfere
etc, they had denied all wrongdoing of the matter and we still cant use our Xbox's.

Basically I just want to know would the smart meters cause this problem for us both so i can send the electricity suppliers an explanation from an Xbox ambassador etc.

Home Button not working (Help)

I can use the home button on all of my controls to turn my xbox on. The home button on the controller doesnt seem to work once the xbox is on. I have tried every controller, and i've even tried using the smart glass app. The only way that i am able to navigate
around my xbox is by using my Kinect. Please help.

Ugh, I meant meter, not merge. Stupid "smart" phone.

 

Not an ambassador. Nor am I an electronics expert... But I do remember reading on most of my transister tech, that any outside RF signal which may interfere with your in home devices that said devices automatically has to accept said interference.

One possibe remedy may be to move the console as far away from your SM as possible. If you own your home, you may want to check into local/state 'opt out' options for SM systems. Or, an expensive option. But do an inside remodeling job using materials which
may redirect outside RF away from the interrior of your home.

One sure fire option. Wired controllers!
