Help Please !!! Share Xbox Live with Xbox 360 and One

I reconnected my old (white) console today haven't used it for a while. Been using Xbox One exclusively since early December. I cannot get my old Xbox to connect to live now. Son wants to play some old games. Previously had black Xbox 360 also.
I could download my games to either console once I logged on to Xbox Live. Gave away my black 360 to son. He does not use my account.

How can I reconnect my old Xbox so I can play the games that aren't compatible with Xbox One? I do not want to lose my old games. Grandson is here ready to plan but very disappointed.

Hi there! In order to have this work correctly, you would need to have the dongle plugged into a PC, and share the PC's connection with your console. For information on how to share your connection with a PC, please visit:

Gold Trial Redeem not working

My xbox one keeps refusing m xbox gold 2 day trial i got with titanfall, it says "you already have gold share this with a friend" but i dont have xbox live gold

you can only transfer gamertags every 30 days but you can only do it 4 times a year

 

Is the problem simply the 360 connecting to Live, or your profile logging in?

When your 360 is trying to connect, is the One also turned on?

Try turning the One off* and see if the 360 will connect to Xbox Live.

It could be a network error where the two consoles are causing conflicts with each other.

*To turn the One off completely (not just into Instant On, where it might still have an active Internet connection), press the Xbox logo on the front for about five seconds and the light on the power supply should change to orange. Now unplug it from the
wall.

does this mean I cannot use both consoles? I was able to for a long time. The current issue started when it was time to change my password. Now I cannot log on the 360 with my new password.
