Help Please!! I cannot connect my Xbox to Xbox Live....I've stopped and started everything ...

I"m getting to the end of my tether when trying to connect to the live account, I've read all of there possible causes and have restored factory settings and re-started my home network so often that my wife and kids are beginning to think I've gone mad.

When I first tried it failed to connect to the wi-fi due to poor signal (my laptop worked fine in the same room but 'hey hoh!', so I went and bought a BT Dual-Band Wi-Fi extender and have plugged that in the same room whereby that particular issue disappeared,
then we came to the Live Account connection issues where it insists I either had an Internet issue or others as and when I'd restarted.

I've even got to the point where I've connected the Xbox via a nice brand new shiny cable restarted everything - including unplugging the power sources - and then started it again, at which point it ran a downloaded a sequence of updates....here we go I
thought!...definitely on the internet now as the download is working.....then I test the connection to the Xbox Live and....!!!???....yep no internet connection, whereupon it suggests, setting to factory, switching off and on and all will be miraculously resolved!?

....Nope!!...at this rate my 1-year subscription will have run out by the time I get it working

Please, please, please can someone help me out as it is driving me mad and I've got the whiskey out now so not anticipating doing any major repairs later tonight.

I have a standard BT Infinity Hub for broadband, TV and Phone....which I have added the BT Wi-Fi extender plug in......and on the main hub I've added a special music hub for wireless speakers on the other side of the house so that's all separate....and we
have an iPad a Mac Book and a standard windows home computer all connected to the internet.

As mentioned all of the updates had worked and worked again when the Xbox was hard wired with the ethernet cable but suddenly didn't work again for Xbox live.

It fails the second stage test of the 3 step Xbox live connection and is the same with just wi-fi and hard-wired.

This is happening to me too! I've done everything the xbox support tells me to do, but still cant connect. The problem stated 2 days ago and since then it since as if the xbox only connects when it wants to. what kind of worked was clearing the system cache,
but after when I started playing COD it asked me for a "account password confirmation" . When I confirmed it, it disconnected me from xbox live. Since then I couldn't connect.

When I test my internet network it fails to connect from the internet to Xbox live. Please help!

Still getting disconnected from XBox Live! This is getting quite frustrating. My settings are the same, my computer gets online o.k., Xbox connection test shows that my Xbox can connect to Xbox Live, but yet when I go to sign on, I get the message that
I cannot connect to Xbox Live and ask if I want to test my connection. Run another test and get check marks for everything and that everything is up and yet again cannot sign into Xbox Live. It's the same cycle over and over...

Hi everyone,

My Xbox 360 has stopped connecting to Xbox Live. It was fine, then about 2 weeks' ago it stopped connecting. Nothing changed in my home network, but Now I have constant problems connecting to Xbox Live. The Xbox itself is connected to
a TP Link powerline adapter as the wifi signal isn't strong enough in room where the console is.

I've tried just about everything. So far, I've:

* reconfigured my router so that the Xbox has a static IP adrdress,

* set up port forwarding and each port is 'allowed' to receive inbound services

* UPnP and NAT are both enabled

* deleted and re-downloaded my profile

* deleted two corrupt files

* cleared the system cache - repeatedly

* restored the Xbox network settings to default

* manually set up the network

* connected the Xbox directly to the router (don't have a modem) - no joy there

* put the Xbox in the DMZ

and still it only occasionally connects, but never for very long, 5 minutes at most.

The network test works most of the time - maybe 80%. If I do manage to connect and start playing CoD Black Ops II, or Advanced Warfare the game give up when I first get fragged. (I say give up, it's more that the enemy appear to run on the spot which
is frankly weird.) Destiny won't work at all.

I'm now at my wits end trying to find a solution. Help! Please help! Please, for the sake of my sanity!

As stated in my first post, i've tried already conencting only my console to router, i've tried even connecting my console directly to ISP cable (without router) - testing shows that console is connected to internet, but cannot connect to the xbox live.

My console already after start shows that it is not connected to the xbox live, and after test, well... testing works normally, just after last step it shows that it cant connect to xbox live. For results of 3rrd step i need to wait few (10? 20?) seconds,
if that's what you mean.

Not to say, i've tried creating new account, or anything related to xbox live (like downloding my profile, updating console etc), and nothing works.

Help Please!! I cannot connect my Xbox to Xbox Live....I've stopped and started everything ...
