help please: cant get something off the screen

Hi, this may sound like a really obvious question, but I'm not tech minded and I'm stuck. My son has the xbox one, simms 4. We are stuck with a screen that we cant get back to the game, we can hear the game in the background, but we have the screen showing
us how to use the wireless controller, but we cant get rid of it to get back to the screen. We can access save etc, ive turned the xbox off, we get to the main screen of choices, but when we click to play simms 4 we are back on the same screen showing us the
controller buttons. we've tried B back and all the other buttons. any help would be gratefully received.

Xbox one system not working

Hi, My xbox one is having a major issue. it starts up normally but it wont go to the home screen instead it goes to a black screen and i cant do anything except pull up the controller menu where i can turn it off. I can load a game up but i cant access the
game or return to the home screen, it simply wont let me. I need help as to how to fix this. I wondering if i have to send it off or something. Please help.

Has anyone had trouble with a blank screen and just the xbox sign in the top right

None of the buttons responding on the pad..maybe pressed something I dont know

You say you turned the console off but have you tried holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down to see if that fixes it?
