Help - Our Box stopped working all of a sudden

Is your Xbox an original Xbox One with an external power supply, or is it a newer Xbox One S or X model without an external power supply?

If it's an older Xbox One with external power supply, what color is the LED light on the Power supply?

If it's an S or X model, please unplug the console from the wall outlet for 10 seconds.

In the mean time, check that the power outlet is working by plugging in a desk lamp or something like that. Also try to not use a power strip and plug the console directly into a wall outlet if possible.

It is important to work on this problem with no other devices attached other than the TV or monitor. Even that connection is suspect!

Main point is Xbox stopped working and wont switch on, have tried with friend's power cable and xbox still wont power on. Any ideas?

Hi, I think that have downloaded Just Dance and the Xbox that don't boot up are 2 different event.

Try to disconnect console or power supply (in case you have the old fat Xbox One) from wall for a while, maybe an energy spike sent it in power protection.

It worked and then all of a sudden it just stopped working.
