    HELP NEEDED! Last Preview Update failed to install now can't boot up!


    PLEASE HELP!!! On Friday 31 Mar morning (GMT) I tried to power on my XBOX ONE (Original 'Day One' edition) and it said Step 3 0f 3, applying update now at 76%. It stayed like this for about 5 minutes and then it went to a message 'Something Went Wrong' Either
    Restart this Xbox or Trouble Shoot with a System Error: E102 10070c02 8B060008.

    I Restarted and again it went straight to Step 3 of 3, applying update now at 76% and eventually error again.

    I went through the trouble shoot screen trying to reset to factory default both saving my settings and then a complete reset but still on reboot it goes back to Step 3 of 3, applying update now at 76% and eventually error again.

    I have tried an offline factory reset and and offline system update - both fail.

    I called Microsoft who just took me through the same steps as I have just tried and suggest either send to them at £110 as its out of warranty or to post on here as I am a Preview member to see if you can help further?

    Please can anyone help?

    Games will not install

    I can't install Forza or Peggle back. What went wrong I loaded up peggle, and Forza both needed an update after the newest preview update for the xbox. They will not update now, so now I am trying to reinstall them but they will not install now. I think
    it is a download bug because it was fine before the xbox update, now it won't update or install.

    (Preview Dashboard) Xbox Avatar Installation Stopped

    Won't finish, i canceled the install after i tried to manually get it to install while i had the box on. Most of the msg's i saw were after i booted it up that it faile dover and over.

    Seems to be a dash preview issue.

    Yes, the last Windows update messed it up but it should boot fine now, no need to do anything else

    Xbox one will not boot

    "I've tried the USB factory reset, along with the Sync/Eject shortcut with the exact same results. The error that keeps coming up is (E102 10040C02 80004005). E102 is a failure to boot/ error when booting up, hence the previous troubleshooting."

    If you are in a Insider preview, you cannot use USB factory reset, (OSU) unless you unenroll from the preview first.

    E102 error generally means the hardware is failing and you will need to setup a repair if you can't get to the troublshooting screen when you boot up.

    As you are in the preview program it is best to post in preview. If you fail to install any update by a certain date it will force the update whatever your settings are.
