HELP! Need to link save file (Diablo 3), accidentally deleted offline profile. HELP. HELP.

It was just an honest mistake I wanted my xbox live (signed up in computer instead of xbox) up.

I deleted the offline profile not knowing that it wont recover....just because I wanted to link the email and switch to my xbox live account. Help, because I can't move/copy my save game in the storage. is Diablo just simply not letting me? I can only stare
at them right now, because it said the save file isn't transferrable. The save file is still there. Plus I can't recover the original xbox account.

any suggestions will help. already asked microsoft agent to help.

I do not want to go through all that levels again. Please. help.

HELP: how to transfer save file on xbox 360? Deleted offline account. Save file useless?

I deleted my offline profile not knowing that it can't be recovered...but I still have my save file that is linked to "unknown profile".

I tried moving/copying the save file, but I can't since it said the save file is not transferrable.

I don't have the Diablo 3 CD anymore, but I do have the reaper of souls. I even created a new profile with the exact same username that I had, and it didn't work.

so... does that mean my save file is just gonna sit there and be useless?

please help, I'm freaking out.

sorry save files are linked to the account that originally saved them. you will just have to start over on the other account.

Each save file is tied to a profile and it cannot be recovered without the original profile present.

The original Diablo 3 and Reaper of Souls are two different games. The save files are incompatible without transferring the data within the game (transfer from Diablo 3 into ROS).

However, the process is not reversible (i.e. you cannot transfer characters from ROS into Diablo 3).

Therefore, unless you still have the original Diablo 3 disk, your save will not be usable.

Theoretically speaking, this is how it would work...

(1) On the Xbox 360, you "move" the Diablo 3 Classic save file data to the Cloud or Flash Drive.

(2) You "move" the Diablo 3 Classic save file data from the cloud or Flash Drive to the Xbox One HDD.

(3) The game detects the Diablo 3 save file data from the Xbox One HDD and then converts it to Diablo 3 Ultimate Evil Edition save file data.

(4) You can now play Diablo 3 Ultimate Evil Edition on the Xbox One

Note: Theoritically speaking, since the save file date that is going to be converted is directly linked to the Gamertag that is currently active, inactive Gamertags will not be affected & should still be usable with Diabl0 3 Classic. Save file data that
has been converted into Diablo 3 Ultimate Evil Edition will not be compatible at all with Diablo 3 Classic.

Hi there! Be sure that you ask to delete the profile, but leave the data. This will protect your save files. You can make a fresh post if you need any further help with it.

On the first comment after the thread author, the user SteveWonda teachs how to transfer data from one profile to another using Horizon. It's from Mass Effect, but it works with any game.
