Help need a new a tv!!

Hi everyone im looking to buy an new TV and I really want a 4k TV. I just need some advice because i have had a bad experience with playing fifa on an smart tv. when you start a match and you kick off the frame rate staggers and then stops until the ball
goes out for a corner, goal kick or even a freekick. I dont want to commit in buying a decent tv if this happens. I have standard HD 32inch LG tv and have no issues regarding the frame rate but i really want an 4k. I am only looking to spend under £550

So any suggestions??

The signal provided by a cheap, no name brand HDMI cable is the same as what's provided by a few hundred dollar cable; there's no reason not to by a cheap cable.

don't need to use my pc on it at all, fortunatly my laptop came with a monitor attached.. lol

and ive never even heard of rocksmith, but thanks for the input!

Hmm. Do you have an external input connected to the XBOX? Like a Sky Box or something?

How big do you want the screen to be?

You're going to struggle to find sets bigger than 40" for under £550.

A Panasonic viera is a good choice, I have one in 50" 4kk, even though the Xbox doesn't output in 4k you can see the difference between hd and 4k.

Hi jessica i have seen some for under £550 but its choosing one that i wont have the weird frame rate issues with fifa. Hi lynas no i didnt have anything else connected to my xbox just your standard hdmi, ethernet and power connected. I was looking at the
viera tv's they do look nice thanks hoveringpie im going to take my xbox to someone elses to test out to see if it was the tv having the issue

If you switch the picture mode to 'Movie' or 'Cinema' you will usually get decent colour accuracy and brightness/contrast settings. The picture can often appear too dim and the colour too warm on those presets though.
