Help! My xbox one shuts off on it's own.

My xbox one will range from times allowing me to play. Sometimes I can get the whole day and others just five minutes. The console when it shuts off makes a beep noise and the psu doesn't even show a light. This causes me to completely unplug the console
and plug it back in. Can someone please help and explain the issue?

Sorry, but this forum cannot help you with self-repair methods that involve opening the Xbox (and voiding your warranty).

The console shutting off without warning is usually due to these two reasons: poor ventilation, or a power supply issue. See the

official support article for more details.

My Xbox shuts off on its own

my Xbox one s will **** off on its own after an hour or two I have watched videos and researched what could cause this to happen and it mostly showed people replacing the thermal compound between the heat sink and mother board what else could cause this
to still happen even after replacing the thermal compound

Probably some component of the console power supply, I had a similar problem, I changed the source, but I had to change the console, it was still under warranty and Microsoft solved it as best as possible, if it is still under warranty see with the support,

It sounds like you need to replace the power supply pack. I had to do this for my original Xbox One about a year ago. After I replaced the supply pack it started working like new again. You can find them on Amazon for around $30 USD.

It might be that, or it could also be something as simple as unplugging everything for a minute, then plugging everything back in. Also, Support recommends plugging the Xbox One directly into a wall outlet (no surge protector / power bars).

I already did that, got a brand new power brick and it hasn't fixed the issue.
