Help! My xbox one control does not work correctly

Hey fam! What exactly is it doing and or not doing exactly? Does it make any weird clicks or clanks when pressed?

There is no strange noise but the button "RB" does not work correctly.

Are you absolutely sure that your controller is not damaged in any way?

If so, perhaps you or someone else in your household remapped any buttons.

To check this, go to Settings>Ease of Access>Controller>Button Mapping and make sure RB is mapped to RB.

If this does not work, take the batteries out of your controller and plug it in via cable, and see if that fixes the problem.

Have you changed any controller mapping recently? Or is there a weird clicking noise, soft bumper, etc? If so it will likely be damaged.
