HELP!!! My whole HD.. Wiped out. 1000's of hours of gameplay.. GONE!!

Okay so.. the other day I was on the YouTube app watching Leon the Professional.. I decided I wanted to play Dragon Age Inquisition so I quit the app, and went to play. It said it couldn't read my disc which was odd. I was just playing it that morning..
and I've only had the game for about 3 1/2 weeks. I restarted my console.. and went to play the game again... it said I needed to insert the installation disc. At this point my heart is pounding.. my hands are getting sweaty and I start to panic. I check my
HD under system store and it says UNFORMATTED. I'm thinking something has to be wrong at this point... I shut my console off, took the HD out for a cpl minutes and put it back in and restarted my xbox. It still says the same thing. I refuse to reformat the
HD because I have 1000's of hours of saved gameplay on it... I'm not too worried about the video games because they can easily be downloaded again... but my save files is what has me freaked out right now. I'm between jobs at the moment and waiting to start
orientation for my new job so I've been playing Dragon Age like a mother *** and this is REALLY gonna suck if I permanently lost everything.... I have an external HD which I save almost everything on.. the only reason why some stuff is saved onto the HD is
because I can't save it on my external.

Has this happened to anybody? Any suggestions on what I can do besides play all over again? I take my gaming seriously!! This isn't the first time something like this has happened either... I have had corrupt save files with Dragon Age before and lost almost
400 hours of gameplay.... but never my whole HD being wiped out... any suggestions would be extremely appreciated.

I noticed you have played Child Of Eden, did you like it?

Have you played ReZ HD?

Rez HD is made by the same company but is a million times better in my opinion.

The gameplay is tighter, the environments are more atmospheric even though they are not as pretty, the music is much much better, the story is better and more meaningful and AREA 5 is so beautiful both visually and aurally it often makes me emotional.

I have put 1000's of hours into ReZ HD and not got bored, I played Child of Eden for about 20 hours and had enough?

I'd be really interested to hear your thoughts...

Sounds like you might be using one of those cheap Chinese knockoff HD's. This always happens with those. I don't think there is any fix.

Well, if you got it from the MS store it is probably legit. Hopefully somebody will have a suggestion for you.

 

This jus happened to me too My HDD didn't get wiped till this morning after i got an update error when it tried to play an app it updated each time then came the error code But i think it stared a week earlier right after the new update my 360 Didn't
wanna Play my destiny at first after i was jus playing it a minute earlier so i put in my Assasins Creed IV and it wouldn't play either so i went back and downloaded the Digital copy and then that game wouldn't accses my save and it didn't wanna make one either?
kind stupid then this morning after restarting the 360 my dashboard was normal so i went to go check my themes and none war there thats when i discovered the UNFORMATTED HDD Like WTF!!!!!!!!
