Help! My Minecraft world keeps crashing when I approach a specific area!

Hi everybody, I'm currently having trouble in my Minecraft world, and I can't seem to find anyone who is encountering the same problem, so I figured I'd ask about it here...

My problem is exactly as the title says; every time I try to walk into a specific area in my Minecraft world, my game crashes back to desktop almost immediately, and I cannot figure out why. I should first give some background... my world is a fairly large
survival world, with a big city centered around my initial spawn point. The city itself is built upon 2 to 3 villages with a stronghold beneath it, so it is populated with quite a few villagers, iron golems, etc. but they don't go near the problem area. I
play on an Xbox One X.

I've determined that the area in question is somewhat large and seemingly circular in shape, as I've approached it from several directions, all with the same result. There aren't any complex redstone machines in the area, nor are there that many mobs or
other entities nearby. The only structure worth noting within the area is an armory of sorts where I've been collecting armor and weapons, as well as a simple armor dispenser machine that utilizes a button, a few pieces of redstone, a chest, and a hopper.
There are no armor stands or item frames. This problem began fairly recently, and up until the game began crashing, I never encountered any other problems with this area. My biggest concern is that if the issue is centered around a specific object, I can't
even get near it to rectify the situation. Also, I should mention that having someone else approach the area still causes my game to crash. I apologize for the longwinded explanation, but I figured I'd try to cover as much as possible. I'd be happy to answer
any additional questions, and any help would be greatly appreciated!

My game is doing the same thing on the xbox 360 version aswell, i was starting to think it was just the seed i'm using or maybe the 5 chicken i have outside my house i built, but it sounds like were having the same issue.

my map is also freezinf when i enter a circular area around my storage building/house.. and my game freezes, loads one more frame then it completely crashes.

how can i fix this?

p.s. I have done all the troubleshooting possible, i'm very tired of deleing and redowlnloading everything i have in minecraft.

I just tried uninstalling/reinstalling Minecraft, but unfortunately it didn't fix this issue. I've also tried powercycling my Xbox in the past, but apart from this the only troubleshooting I've done so far was in-game.

I've made a copy of my world and tried several different things in creative mode, and I've taken steps to remove any potential causes of lag in the surrounding area, but nothing has made a difference. I've tried to enter the area on foot, in a minecart,
and by flying, both during the day and at night, but it still freezes.

One odd thing I have noted is the fact that when I do hit the area and it freezes, the game will usually move another frame or two very quickly a few seconds later, only to crash back to the desktop immediately after.

Have you noticed any other strange behaviour in another game? if so you can try to

power cycle your Xbox if you haven't already.

Thanks for replying to keep us updated. Sorry to hear that the issue is continuing even though you've done some troubleshooting so far. It may be worth your while to try the troubleshooting steps in our Xbox
One Game Freeze Solution to see if they can work out the kinks.

If not, then I would also recommend reaching out to the great folks over at the
Minecraft Forums to see if they may have any input to provide, especially since this also happens when someone else gets to that area of the game as well.

Give the troubleshooting a try and let us know how it goes!
