help my gamertag is broken

You can try going to this site and seeing if your gamertag shows: Your Profile - xbox.com

If it does, then you may need to sign out of the Xbox app and sign back in with your Microsoft account. If you don't see your new gamertag, then you will need to follow Smwutches's advise and try changing it again as you have changed the legacy gamertag.

When you sign into xbox.com, then click onto your gamer pic. Do you see your new gamertag?

The bottom tag is concidered a classic gamertag and the top is part of the new gamertag policy. You somehow changed your classic tag and not the newer one. You would have to try changing it again to see if it shows the option for both and then change the top tag.

yep same to me but i recover my friend list on older gamertag save on other hdd device .recover gamertag is broken
