    help my game won´t start


    Hello, I am Steve and I have problem starting my game on xbox one.

    It is Dishonored 2 and I bought it digitally in Arkane anniversary collection.

    I´ve played first two games (Prey and Dishonored 1) without any problem and now when I press any button to start the game it immediately crashes.

    I tried everything what xbox assist said to me and it´s still not working (restart console, turn off the console, reinstall the game,etc.)

    I am really desperate, because it cost me lot of money and I wanted to play the game so much.

    If you know where the problem could be please response.

    Hello, dear moderator,

    Thank you for your response. I want to say that I tried everything what was in your reply. After I completed restart of whole console I tried to play my game, but when I got to the point where I must press any button to start, the game crashed again. So I want to ask if there is some problem on side of Microsoft store (wrong version or something), because it looks like there is no problem in my console.

    Thank you for your time and please response if you know where the problem is or where should I find help.

    Hello there @havirstepan, I hope everything is going well!

    Thank you for reaching Microsoft Xbox Forum support!

    I would like you to go through the following steps to clear the Mac address and then perform a quick power cycle on your console:

    Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear it and the console should restart. It would definitely help if you could restart the internet router while the console is restarting.

    After going through the troubleshooting steps mentioned, I invite you to perform a quick power cycle by turning off the console and then unplugging all the cables. After 2 to 3 minutes, re-plug them back again, then restart your console.

    In case the issue still persists, the next step would be to perform a reset on the console. To do so you will need to follow the steps below to perform a reset on the Xbox:

    Settings > System > Console Info > Reset This Xbox > Reset and Keep my Games and Apps.

    Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.
