    Help moving a Gamertag to another microsoft account


    I have had an xbox account for several years now and i am trying to move my account to another email because the old email i had has had no use in a long time. It would be way more convienient for me. Everytime i go through the process on my xbox and get
    the final section and press Yes, it says "Microsoft cannot do this at this time. Please visit Xbox.com/accounthelp. When i go to that site, it gives me no helpful information as what to do or explain why i cant move the email. If someone could please help
    and explain an easiler way to do this, please do help.

    Hi there,

    please be aware that there are a few things that will result in you not being able to move an account.

    - An account must be on a console for at least 30 days without it being downloaded (and possibly used) on a different console.

    - If there are funds on the account balance, they could cause that the account can't be switched untill they are used

    - If there are multiple payment regions on your account it may prevent moving the xbox live account. Check if you have a selection of regions in the top right corner at
    http://billing.microsoft.com

    Thanks for replying!

    I tried it again today. Atleast the profile is now moved away from account 2. Now when i try to move my profile 1 to account 2 it gives me this error: xbox.com/accountswap

    did this happen because i logged in(with profile 1 on account 1) on my new xbox one i got yesterday?

    I have done this suggestion (for the second time actually) my old adult account is now added to my new family account as a child account and i have set the time limits. i have done all this via my pc but the xbox is not stopping! do i need to do something
