Help Microsoft account

Hello,

I recently bought a new pc and I loged in a microsoft account I used with th pc I had before.

I wanted to log in the xbox app, but the app forced me to use the account linked to my pc, even if I had a xbox live account before that.

to put it simply:

Account A (gaming account used for my Xbox360)

Account B (used for my PC)

I can't log on the xbox app with account A since it's account B that is linked to the PC, this mean I lost all the progress of my account.

Can someone help me with this ?

Select child
Sign in as parent
get to the 50c card authorisation, add card details
Then get card already exists on account - go through screens - again!!

Then after about 10 minutes updating account it fails with code 45468.7036976521340.5055251569016685

Go to xbox errorhelp - can't find it

Can anybody help please we are pulling our hair out on this

Just to say the card is on account from xbox and also Microsoft accounts linked to the parents account!

 

Hi there.

you should be able to use the sign out option in the Settings-General in Xbox App and use the Sign out option.

After that you can select Sign in again and it will start with the PC account, but before confirming that account in the top left corner it shows ' Not you' after clicking that you should be able to specify your other Microsoft Account with the correct Xbox
Live Account.

Thanks for reaching out to us! Since you would prefer to log into the Xbox App with an account other than the one you use on your PC, here are some steps to assist you in doing so:

1. select the Start Windows logo Start button button
2. Settings Gear-shaped Settings icon
3. Accounts Contact icon , then find the Microsoft account you used to sign in to the Xbox app and select
   Remove
4. Then go back to the Xbox X on a sphere Xbox logo app and sign in with the Microsoft account you just removed

If I remove the account that logged in Xbox app, will this not remove all the files installed by that account ?

Paul from the Xbox Forums Team here to assist, in regards to your question about the files being removed by removing the account associated with it. All of the games that were downloaded under that profile will still be installed all that will be removed
is the information needed to log into that account. I hope this information answers your question.
