Help me with ping

Your ping could be spiking because there are multiple people in your household using the same internet. People confuse fast internet with strong internet all the time.

I don't know what you mean with "speedtest of Seattle ghit with xbox".

The thing is, you don't need to change servers. The Xbox only contacts the Seattle server to test the network. The Ping you see there is NOT an indication about the network performance in games.

It's just like saying "That Bugatti Veyron must be a slow car. It needs about 2 days to go from New York to Seattle. My Volkswagen Beetle can get from my house to the store down the road in 5 minutes".

Getting a different Ping is always depending on who is hosting the game.

If you connect with other people playing in Brazil, you will get a small ping. If you play with people in Europe, your ping will be higher.

Ping is not something you can influence. If you think your ping was lower before, then you might also ask your Internet Provider if they changed something. Maybe a route they used previously broke, and they have to reroute internet traffic through a slower
route.

I understand your Ping measurements differ between your Xbox and your "internet".

First, you probably need to understand what exactly Ping is, and how it is measured.

In order to get a ping measurement, you choose a server that is supposed to return your ping measurement, then you send a ping packet through the internet to that server, the server returns it as soon as it arrives on it's network and the time it takes for
your data packet to leave your console, reach the server and come back to your console is the ping.

To make a real world analogy:

If you have a race car driver at your home, you can ask him to drive to the store down your street, and come back while you clock the time. It might take him a few minutes to drive down the street, get a punchcard stamped to prove he was at the store and
then return home.

Now you decide you want to Ping the Xbox campus in Redmond. Let's assume you live in Europe, so your racecar driver leaves your garage, you start the stopwatch, and the driver speeds out of town, towards the next airport, gets into the plane, flies around
the globe to reach the USA, get into a rental car, drive across the country to finally reach Redmond, get his punchcard stamped at the Xbox Campus, then get back into the car, drive back across the USA to the airport, get into the plane, fly back to Europe,
into the sports car, and race back to your house.

As soon as he reaches your home, this trip took several days.

So in that case you wouldn't complain about the trip to Redmond taking several days compared to the trip down the road to your supermarket being slower.

So to compare only ping numbers is of no use, as you don't tell us which target you pinged.

If you ping a server that is on the other end of the world, the signal natually takes longer than pinging a server near your Internet Provider's location.

So if by your "internet" ping you mean you used Speedtest to ping the nearest location, try to manually set the speedtest target to be near Seattle or Redmond in Washington USA.

Then compare that ping with the ping measurements you get from your Xbox console's network test.
