Help me understand and set up Xbox Video for a Living Room Xbox One

    Here's the situation:

We have an Xbox One driving our entire Living Room media center.

Three of us (me, wife, son) all have Microsoft Accounts logged into it.

Is it possible to have MY Xbox Video collection accessible to the other 2 account login on this Xbox One when I am NOT around?

As well, when my wife is logged in, can she access MY Xbox Music account or do I need to pay 9.99/month per user?

    :)

  3. Question About Child Account

I have three kids (all girls) and the oldest is finally starting to embrace video gaming. I'm so proud!

So here is my setup. I have two Xbox One consoles. One in the living room (My home Xbox One) and the other in my office. I downloaded Minecraft for my daughter and then set her up a Xbox Live account. Her account is only active on the secondary console.

So today was one of those days where the both of us wanted to do some gaming. I'm logged on in the living room and she's heads into the office to play some Minecraft. I get signed out in the living room because the Xbox in the office needs her to sign
as me to play Minecraft. Once she launches Minecraft, she hits the "Y" button and signs into Minecraft with her Xbox Live profile.

Now if I try to log back on in the Living Room, it boots her off Minecraft and says "You have been signed out".

Why can't she logon on the second Xbox and play Minecraft without booting me off my other Xbox? What am I missing?

    Thanks!

designate the console as YOURS.. make your gamertag account the owner of the console... this should allow your family to access YOUR items when you are not around.

Also for any future purchases.. you might want to make it under your account...

This should also work with the music... I am not entirely sure....
