    Hello microsoft support or microsoft community, I have a really bothering problem on my computer that is preventing me from running my games installed from the microsoft store and also to re-install them.

    My problem is that whenever I try to open/run a game that is located in the "XboxGames" folder on my computer, for example, Minecraft Java edition, Minecraft Bedrock edition, Minecraft Dungeons, Minecraft Legends, Asphalt Legends Unite or Among Us, I get an error message saying that "This app can't run on your pc. To find a compatible version for your computer, contact your software editor.".

    Then, I thought that the games needed to be re-installed, so I un-installed them, but when I click on the "Install" button, another window pops up and tell me that "The software will be installed in that folder." but the folder selection button is stuck on it's loading animation, which then prevents me from clicking on the "Accept" button to launch the installation.

    I am using Windows 11 Familly 24H2 with the latest update I could install today (27/06/2025).

    whether you have the direct excursion required or the windows required doesn't change that you have the hardware that is required

    did you purchase an ARM 64 surface laptop?

    That’s great improvement. Now please reset the Microsoft Store App by following the steps below:

    On your search bar type “wsreset” then run as administrator, wait for the Microsoft Store App to launch before restarting your PC. Check if that will fix the issue.

    First, I suggest giving your PC a complete restart. Then run the app troubleshooter for Microsoft Store apps:

    Also, try to see if you cannot send or retrieve messages on account.xbox.com or the mobile Xbox app. If they also are not working then the issue may be related to a temporary server issue transferring the data between clients.
