Help me not regret buying this

Alright. I need help. I currently regret buying the Xbox one Day one edition. When I first got the Xbox one I had to deal with the problem that thousands others dealt with. Whenever a disc was inserted there was a terrible grinding clicking sound and it
followed by the Xbox not registering that there was a game inserted. After days of being unable to game I was told to ship in my Xbox. Fine I did it. Waited a week before finally getting a working one, no biggie I was willing to wait a week to play my games.
Ever since then I've been dealing with these problems.

1. When I turn my Xbox one on, the Kinect will sometimes simply not work. It's plugged in, chords are in perfect shape, but the light on the Kinect will not be on and it will not work. It takes SEVERAL hard restarts to get it to function. I've read Microsoft's
posted fix suggestions and they only fix it until the next time I boot up my Xbox.

2. it will not read my games. Put in a game and I get a disc read error code. For all games. All discs are in perfect condition. Again it takes SEVERAL hard restarts to fix this solution. And I mean several. I have followed all the solutions posted by Microsoft
and they are just quick fixes that only work half the time. I do not want to have to do this every time I put in a game.

3. Skype... i love Skype. It's how I communicate with family and friends. So when I start Skype I get abother lovely error message saying that skype took too long to start. Again ive tried all of Microsoft's posted fix tips to no avail. The only way to get
it to temporarily work is to AGAIN hard reset the system SEVERAL SEVERAL TIMES. When I say several I mean 5-10 times.

Please someone, does anyone have a fix for these issues that will FIX them instead of put them off until the next time I start my Xbox ? I want to love my Xbox, not regret buying it. I've been dealing with this since xbox one release and I've just had it

Just to make sure the basics have been covered, do you have your xbox plugged straight into the wall and not a power strip? The xbox one has a surge protector built in and having it plugged into another one can cause some of the same problems you're having.

I'm sorry your experiencing this early adopter issue, and I can personally say that your best bet is to call support on this one. I also believe a forum is here specifically designed to handle issues like this with repairs.
