    can anyone please answer a possibly stupid question for me

    I decided to upgrade to an x box one s for my son and I for Xmas

    My question is this,,,,

    The console came in a bundle with four games,,,I thought it was plug and play but my friends have told me that I probably need to connect to internet to download initial application of theses games ,,, is this true ??? And how long and how much data will
    I need ???

    The games I got were :

    Forza 3 with hot wheels exp

    Doom

    Star Wars battlefront 2

    Fallout4

    ....any help or advice would be greatly recieved ,,, not a techie ( obviously) lol

    Out5shined, I'll keep playing until I think the game is lost for my team, or we have idiots campin in the pre-game lobby for the vehicles, and when they do get them, they just end up failing. It's very annoying trying to play a game of Rush or Conquest,
    and you can't even defend with your entire team Sniping and missing, or camping for vehicles. It's damn hard taking or defending the objective that way!

    I'm at 7%...I only leave to join my friends game usually. I almost always finish games regardless of how lopsided a game is.

    Did you get disk versions or did you get digital versions of these games do you know? There is likely updates for these games that will need to be downloaded at the very least, as well as updates to the console itself. If they are digital versions and not
    disks, these games can be any wheres from 20-60 gigs or more to download. The speed of this really depends on your download speed and the qaulity of your connection to the internet. It could take a few hours or a day depending on your connection to download one
    game.

    If the games didnt come on discyou will need to download them and also most games games need a first day update.

    If you have gotten the disk versions, you will not need internet although you will only be able to play offline, with new content updates.

    If you have gotten a digital version, you cannot play as you'll need to download it from the internet

    Basically...I like reading the excuses. Most of my quits are when the game decides to split a group of us out. Best way to ensure we play together is for the person(s) on the other team, to back out and join in progress through the party chat.

    40% quit is just someone who starts to suck then backs out because the other team is better.
