Help me get this straight...

If any of you care Marc Whitten did take notice of a twitter cconversation vDeacon was having concerning this subject. He said it was good feedback. I pointed the sticky thread out to him but no acknowledgment of that yet

 

I think there should be 5 categories total (some of which are already in place):

1) Favorites - friends you play with the most.

2) Friends - friends you want to play with again.

3) Following - those you admire & want to keep in touch with.

4) Followers - those whom admire you; fans.

5) Blocked - those you want to avoid.

6) Custom - your own named list (family, real-life friends, Call of Duty friends, etc.).

IMO, none of these should mix & match (with the exception of any custom lists you create). If you follow someone, they should NOT appear as a friend unless they also follow you. Friends & favorites should NOT appear as followers too. I think if someone follows
you, you shouldn't get a notification, but if someone sends you a friend request, you should receive a notification.

FWIW the idea is taken from twitter where you can follow people, and people follow you. which is why the activity feed is like a twitter page. Personally iv'e never sued twitter

[/quote]I just figured that it might be nice if they added 3 more categories to my above list for ideas - friends with Xbox One, friends with Xbox 360, & friends with both.

 

@GG, 4 of the 6 things you listed are there already. The best list being Favorites, which is best using the Snap for.

There is a way to see a list of those you blocked, I stumbled upon it the other day. When in the friends list press start and you can view blocked tags. I actually had some in my list but have no idea when I did it. Must have been pre-party days and just
carried over.

 

I find that just like with 360 when I get a random request or now follower if I don't know the tag eg. I don't recognise from a recent gaming session I tend to ignore it. If I would like to add someone to play regularly I'll send a little message along with
the follow to clarify how I know them or the reason I want to be friends. Read this and have added you back. I'll PM you

[/quote]Thanks for the reply, but you're only telling me something I already knew. If you look back on my post before last, you can see that it was 1 of the very 1st things that I mentioned. Try to keep your eyes open - you just might miss something. =P
