Help! Lost a game and its not on my Download History!

I formatted my hard drive, after that i went to re-download my games when i wanted to download minecraft i couldn't it said i needed to pay £13 although i bought it last year with Microsoft points. I checked my download history and it wasn't there however
I have all the achievements and it says when i got them.

i bought pvz on my xbox 360 in 2011 and i cant download it on xbox one bec its not in download history as full version i downloaded trail version in 2011 and updated the game ingame for 20 € i guess and thats why its not in my history

can enyone help me ?

Okay, now I'm lost and frustrated. I can't redownload the item at all. Its not even showing up in my history. HELP.

 

You will need to transfere your licences. it only takes a few seconds and then you'll be good to go.

It's to do with how the DRM works, it has 2 licences, 1 tied to account and 1 tied to HD. Since you formatted you will need to renew that licence.

 

If your console was recently repaired or if you’ve purchased a new console, use the licence transfer option on your console to transfer content licences. Here's how:

1.On your console, sign in to Xbox Live using the gamertag that you used to purchase the content.

2.Go to Settings and select Account.

3.Go to Your Billing Options and select Licence Transfer.

4.Follow the instructions to transfer the content licences.

5.After the licences have been transferred, you need to download the content again to update the local licences. For information about how to do this, see Download content that you’ve previously purchased.

After you have followed these steps, content can be used by other profiles on your console and when you’re not connected to Xbox Live.

I followed the instruction, but i it didn't work its not on my Download history and it still says i have to pay for it

 

Transferring licences is to make content work on a new console, it doesn't suddenly add stuff into your Download History.

The most likely reason for this is that you originally bought the game using another account. You need to be signed into that one and then go through the download history.

Erm... you're saying the principal reason is licences. I'm saying it wouldn't be that. It is likely the
principal reason for this is using a different account.

It's likely licences will have to be transferred afterwards, provided that turns out to be the reason, but the initial problem needs to be solved before going down that route.

 

Again so he needs to follow step 1. On your console, sign in to Xbox Live using the
gamertag that you used to purchase the content

 

I'm using the same account that i used to buy the game, the only thing i did is formatted my hard drive (Delete Everything from my console) and now i want to re-download it but i cant because it says i have to pay for it

 

You can contact Support and they will go through every single transaction you have ever made on the account to check that but in general this problem happens when you used a different account to purchase from - maybe another one you used to use before R0benator,
or perhaps a family member's account.

My eyes are not working properly yet so it might have been covered in what's been advised above by KALEEF, Maxen but could it be something to so whether it's set that this console is "You Home Xbox"? ..

I've seen others mentioning problems before about this.

Go into "Settings" and then "My Home Xbox" it will say in there whether it is or isn't.

As I said, not sure if this has been covered or that it would even cause the problem, I'll carry on drinking my cuppa ;-)
