Help . Installation Stopped . This is a major problem for people

I'm having this issue since some days ago,I have the new patch and until now its not working, I read other post here where suggest erase games that we don't play in the moment , I erase one, make the Power Cycle and start the installing, I bought Mortal
Kombat X and see, I back to you to tell what happen.

This is a REALLY BIG ISSUE, I can comparte this to the "Red Lights of Dead" If Microsoft don't do somenthing quickly and not until the next schedule system update.

 

Quick update... its NOT working.

 

Everything keeps wrongggggg and mortal kombat is about to release and update nowwwwww

It passed to me again .installing dlc 2 of sniper elite 3 pummmm installation stopped and i don't know what to do right now.i'm beyond tired of this. Microsoft do something your system operative is getting down

 

Hey guys - I just want to toss my experience in on this. Let me first ask, for those of you experiencing this issue, is it with brand new "initial" installations (i.e. the very first installation you do with the game) or is it also occurring with updates
that happen later? I ask because MINE just the other day did this several times in a row with an update for Neverwinter. So, my inkling is to believe this is something related with a recent system update (possibly preview, though I don't know if everyone in
this thread is in the Preview Program - it might be a good idea to post this issue in the preview forums if you haven't done so already, because they really need to know these things as they occur.)

It eventually DID install, but it took a few "reminders" to get the install to continue. I also noticed that as it was getting these issues, I was doing other things with my system - I tend to wonder if these installations get interrupted if the system is
doing several things simultaneously? For example, updating 4 or 5 titles at the same time? On mine, I had Neverwinter tell me it needed an update, so I started it, and it went to "Installation Stopped!" at about the 15% mark. I re-started it, went in and started
playing a game while it was installing, backed out and it had stopped again at about 40%. It seemed like it was only allowing the install to continue as long as nothing else was going on at the same time. I let it finish, but then also noticed that there were
about 4 other games that had the asterisk for "recently updated."

So, my guess is it's a combination of something with a recent update has flummoxed the system a bit (it happens, and they have to tweak something in the next update) as well as an issue with several things happening at the same time and sort of "interrupting"
each other.

Unfortunately, the "install WITH DLC option" mentioned above doesn't actually cause this issue; that simply causes the installation to move S-L-O-W-L-Y, but it doesn't typically give the "Installation Stopped!" error in those cases.

 

Since february I'm not in the preview program. But the installation stopped fixed when restart the router but i don know a solution other times that didn't worked

 

This happens to me anytime any game gets an update at all whether I have the physical disc or I purchased it digitally. I have called support about the issue dozens of times and the solution is always the same. Completely uninstall the product, hard cycle
the box, and reinstall the product from scratch. This solution is unacceptable. My ISP has data limits imposed and I can't afford to reinstall 6 games a month just because a 100mb update gets pushed. Support insists the problem is related to my network. If
the issue is not addressed I will not be supporting Microsoft on future console endeavors.

 

So does anyone know when the next patch is coming, Because I can't install or update any games fully since the latest patch.

I am not intended he preview version. This just happened to me again today.

 

I'm not sure if I am in the preview version or not.

 

My digital copy of Halo: Master Chief Collection is having this issue. The game was installed for over a month now, and it worked fine. Evidently there was game update recently, because I logged on a few days ago and Halo was in the Queue with Installation
Stopped! text. I tried a hard reset, power cycle and I finally uninstalled it. I tried to reinstall the game, and it wont even do that now. Nothing Ive tried has worked. I cant even play the game now.

 

Soda Jack, the same thing is happening to my friends and to me as well. DO NOT do a factory reset on your xbox as you will be unable to install anything. My xbox is currently a paper weight :/

 

I can't get more than 1% on Battlefield 4 off of EA access. Having issues with disk games as well. Has Microsoft acknowledged this problem or a way to fix?
