Hello , unfortunately after a code (key) is redeemed the license gets attached to the account that redeemed, if the purchase had been made by the Microsoft store directly could request a refund of the game.

However what version exactly you bought and what is your console, an Xbox One or some of the new generation, S or X.

It is one of the new generation ones Series S. The game now works for some reason it took its time showing up in the owned games probably because its a new game and there were outages on the microsoft network. This issue is resolved and I really appreciate your response.

Well unfortunately for you

You do need to get the cross gen version to get both for 10 bucks more

The regular edition doesn't get both

Only the xbox one and yes that's the point of the cross gen version as next gen games are more expensive then previous gens
