Help I keep on losing my "gold"

I have the same/similar issue. My xbox live gold has been renewed until next year, but my home screen keeps saying "time is running out" and "don't lose gold."

Wait so im confused, do i lose the gold or do i keep it after the gpu?

I keep my profile on a flash drive. If i do what you are suggested will i lose any save games? Plus i dont have xbox live gold

Ghost do u think it's worth it? In my experience of calling microsoft it's a long time consuming process. You think they will help or just keep me on the line for an hour and say sorry we can't help you. Cause if it's the latter than 1hr ain't worth the
$5 in gold I lost

. I wrote this post not to complain but to warm others to just wait until their gold expires or a day before to enter the code lest they lose a week or 2 or more of live

My husband and I combined our gold account profiles with the thrird gold profile that was on our xbox. We made the third one the primary account. Now that the family plan is discontinued, will we lose our tenure on the main two accounts once it expires?
Is there any way to keep our tenure once it expires..maybe by contacting support..could they fix it? I'd hate to lose my tenure after all these years, it's important!!
