Help. I just did the April update. Sound still messed up.

I was hoping this update would fix my surround sound problems. The only way for me to get sound from my xbox one is to have it set to stereo uncompressed. HDMI and Optical both have this issue. My stereo reads Dolby Digital from Optical just fine from my
cable box. But from my xbox my stereo displays Dolby Digital or DTS I just don't get sound.

Should I just give in and send it back for another replacement?

Followers not showing up

I already did that, still didn't help. It's not the friends that are messed up, it's the followers. Hiding my friends list has nothing to do with my followers being messed up.

man this is a bad nightmare for april update didn't do anything for me !!! EA severs are garbage !! Fix this problem already . I have probably talked to every tech at xbox they all have there own ways of trying to help me with a 0% success rate I'm just
going to stop playing for a while. i shouldn't of signed up for those updates i think they messed up my xbox one .

 

I am having an issue since the April update, but I didn't connect the two. Suddenly I am not getting 5.1 either. My surrounds just stopped working. Not my receiver.

 

I wish the moderators would give me an answer. What good is this freaking forum if you can't get some help.

 

Glad I seen this, since April update 5.1 has gone to stereo.

Total shame everything sounds way better 5.1.
